About Duluth Family Medicine Clinic

Family Medicine

Regular office visits are key to preventing illness and supporting your health during sudden concerns. Our family medicine clinic focuses on proactive care through routine check-ups and timely treatment of acute issues. By staying connected, we help catch problems early and provide the support you need—keeping you and your family healthy and well cared for throughout every stage of life.

Sick Visits and Same-Day Appointments

Fast Access When You Need It

A parent or guardian must accompany children to Well Child visits. If someone else will bring your child, please call our clinic in advance to ensure the proper paperwork is in place at time of visit.

Before the visit, parents complete a short questionnaire—available in advance through MyChart. As your child grows into adolescence, some questions will be directed to them, and parts of the visit may be done one-on-one with the physician to encourage open communication and self-advocacy.

We value your role and involvement—this process is part of helping your teen grow into a healthy, independent adult.

  • Controlled Substance Medications: These require more frequent in-person visits.
  • Form Completion: Some forms or paperwork may require an appointment to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
We’re proud to provide prenatal care and childbirth support. Two physicians will be assigned to you throughout your pregnancy and delivery. We deliver at both Essentia Health and Aspirus St. Luke’s, so you can choose the hospital that fits your birth plan.

We offer access to a team of providers beyond primary care, including:

  • Psychologist
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker
  • Pharmacists
  • Community Health Worker

This team-based approach supports your physical, emotional, and social well-being.
