Preparing for Your Appointment

To make the most of your visit, bring a list of current medications, recent health concerns, and any questions you have. Arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in and updates to your information. Your preparation helps us provide the best care possible.

What to expect at your visit

Our front desk team handles all phone calls during business hours, helps with check-in, and provides any paperwork you may need. Appointment times typically range from 20 minutes to 1 hour, depending on your needs. You’ll receive a reminder message 3 business days before your visit-this includes your registration time. Arriving on time helps our staff complete check-in and rooming before the physician sees you. If you’re running late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, though wait times or provider changes may occur.

Please let us know if you need to cancel or reschedule, so we can offer that time to another patient.

Financial Assistance

If you don’t have insurance, your account will be considered self-pay. If you pay for your medical services in full the day of your visit, you will get a 25% discount. If you’re having trouble making payments on your account, please consider filling out our financial assistance application.

Note: If you have previously been awarded financial assistance through Essentia Health or Aspirus St. Luke’s, you will still need to complete an application for Duluth Family Medicine Clinic.
